Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using www.zippo.in or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms, including the policies incorporated by reference herein, and agree to be bound by these Terms and such policies.

1. ABOUT US
This website is operated by ZippoLighters India Private Limited (CIN U36990KA2020PTC135809), registered office at 1st Floor, Vaswani Augusta Lane, Whistling Greens, Challaghatta, Embassy Golf Link Road, Domlur, Bangalore North, Karnataka 560071 ("Zippo India", "we", "us", "our").

Zippo India is the authorised distributor in India of products manufactured by Zippo Manufacturing Company, Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA ("ZMC"). All products sold through this website are genuine Zippo products.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE RESTRICTION
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from this website. By placing an order you explicitly represent and confirm that you meet this requirement. We may require proof of age at the time  of order placement or at the point of delivery and may refuse or cancel an order where age cannot be verified. Zippo lighters, fuel, flints and accessories are intended for adult use only and must be kept out of the reach of children.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION, ORIGIN AND PRICING
* Product listings state the country of origin, importer details, net quantity, maximum retail price and consumer care details as required under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 as amended or replaced from time to time..
* All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable GST. The total price payable, including a bre akdown of applicable taxes, any delivery charges, and any other fees, is displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
* Prices may change from time to time. The price displayed at checkout applies to your order.
* Product images are illustrative. Minor variations in finish or shade may occur due to photography lighting or screen resolutions and such variations are not defects provided they do not materially alter the product specifications, function, or quality.
* We may limit order quantities or decline an order, acting reasonably.

4. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE
Your order is an offer to purchase. We accept your order, and a contract is formed, only when we dispatch the products and send you a shipping confirmation. Until then we may decline or cancel the order, including but not limited to in cases of payment failure, a manifest pricing or description error, suspected fraud, inability to verify your age, or stock unavailability. Where we cancel, we refund any amount paid in full, without deduction, to the original payment method within the timelines in our Refund Policy.

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering, unless cash on delivery
is offered for your location.

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery timelines shown are estimates. Lighters, lighter fluid and flints are classified as restricted or dangerous goods by some carriers, and certain products may not be deliverable to all locations or by all shipping methods.
Delivery may be affected by location, courier availability, or events beyond our reasonable control. Please see our Shipping Policy for further details, which forms a part of these Terms.

6. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION
Our Refund Policy at https://zippo.in/policies/refund-policy forms part of these Terms. In summary, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and returned within 7 days of delivery. We do not charge a cancellation fee where you cancel before dispatch. 

7. WARRANTY
Genuine Zippo windproof lighters are covered by ZMC's lifetime guarantee in respect of mechanical function, on the terms published by ZMC. The guarantee covers mechanical function only and does not cover finish, surface wear, or damage caused by misuse, alteration or unauthorised repair. 8. SAFE USE
Lighters produce an open flame and lighter fluid is highly flammable. Use products only as directed on the packaging and accompanying instructions, keep them away from children, and never expose them to heat or direct sunlight.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The ZIPPO name, logo, lighter shape, product designs and all other trade marks and intellectual property displayed on this website are owned by and are used by Zippo India under licence. All website content, including text, images and layout, is protected by copyright. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, framing or commercial use is
prohibited.

10. USE OF THIS WEBSITE
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, and not to introduce malicious code or interfere with its operation. We may suspend or withdraw access to the website, in whole or in part, without notice. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error free.

11. PRIVACY
Your privacy and personal data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed at Privacy Policy – Zippo lighter India PVT Limited. The Privacy Policy forms a part of these Terms.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) product liability under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; or (d) any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profit, arising from your use of this website; and our total liability in respect of any order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the products in that order.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order governs that order. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.

14. SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject always to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — including your right to approach the consumer commission having jurisdiction where you reside or work — the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms.
